I’m a fan of Rome’s music, his Voyeur EP being a particular favorite, but I have to admit that sometimes it takes me a few spins to fully understand what he’s trying to say. His lyrics and accompanying visuals can be dense and cryptic, hinting at a greater purpose that isn’t always immediately apparent. That’s the case here as well, on first play I like how this song sounds but beyond a generalities I’m not sure what it’s really about (yet). Which is just fine, it’s nice when music makes you use your head for something other than nodding.
