Very nice remix/edit thing by ATL’s Taumie, catchy with a lot of gangsta flutes. Reminiscent of Madlib’s remix series or more recently of Knxwledge’s experiments.

Dr. Millionaire (formerly Isaiah of Isaiah & Hovey) and Conrizzle and Hovey Benjamin (formerly Hovey of Isaiah & Hovey) doing what has always worked for them before and doing it well – no frills, enjoyable, solidly constructed shit talking rap music.

Bad behavior rap over a very smooth beat. Not the most original idea, but slickly rapped by Dr. Millionaire and overall well executed.

Young talent from Virginia (?), previously known as Isaiah of the promising duo Isaiah & Hovey.

I’m generally VERY VERY skeptical of all manner of this vs that mashups, especially ones where you have iconic and/or highly notable artists on both sides of the equation. But Frankie P’s album remains one of my favorites from 2011, and the snippets in video sound do sound intriguing… so I’m willing to give this the benefit of the doubt with an open mind. Hopefully it will be more like AZ’s Memphis Sessions then any of the recent high- concept mashup abortions.

Isaiah & Hovey are from VA (I think), and this is a very good no frills rap song.

Excellent verses here from Surf Club’s Kent M$ney. The C.R.E.A.M.y chorus works too. Hopefully we get a longer version with an actual verse from Chili Chil eventually. Kent is quite serious and should definitely be on radars. Becoming has done nothing if not gotten better with time since it came out.
