Slim and Paris fancy themselves as a new age UGK/Oukast combo… and they kinda are. With “Jumper Cables”, the duo picks up where they left off with When Pigs Fly, trading verses with fellow Dallas buddy Tunk (you should really download The Audition while you’re here. “Iceman” is the sheeeeeit) over a Picnic Tyme (the only producer I’ve ever seen them work with) trunk rattler. These guys are doing things correctly.
