Here is a new track from AZ and Statik Selektah off of AZ’s upcoming record, 15th Anniversary of Doe or Die, set to release on November 23rd. The re-release of AZ’s classic 1995 debut album will feature brand new remixes from Buckwild (Ho-Happy Jackie), D/R Period (Mo Money, Mo Murder, Mo Homicide), Pete Rock (Rather Unique) and Statik Selektah, new verses, and three to four brand new recordings. The 15th Anniversary album will only be made available on iTunes.
Here is what AZ had to say about the album:
I’ll take like the best 6 [songs] off of Doe Or Die and remix [those], and then add, like I said, four other [new] joints too it – just to give ‘em something new. I didn’t wanna do the whole Doe Or Die album [over], but I picked the best ones, from “Sugar Hill†to “Gimme Yours,†“Rather Unique,†“Ho Happy Jackie,†the [title-track]. And then added the rest [of the] brand new songs, just to give the new fans of today a taste of what’s going on.
AZ also mentioned adding a few “lost tracks” that didn’t make the final Doe or Die track listing such as the Erick Sermon Remix of Gimme Yours and the Faith Evans version of Sugar Hill. You can read more in his interview on HipHopDX.

Many times a mixtape is hosted by established DJ’s to lend some credibility but Reks isn’t a guy who needs a co-sign. In case you forgot, this dude recently gave us “Say Goodnight” with the help of Preemo. Reks has been doing it since Skills 101 if you ask me. Check out this mixtape if you have been ignoring this Boston talent. Ron Artest + Freddie Gibbs + Curt@ins = Fiyah! –Philaflava

Statik always brings heat in his production but sometimes his collabos are doing too much. His work with Saigon this year was phenominal so hopefully he continues with that on 100 Proof. Any Termanology fans here? –Philaflava
