I can do without Shape forever, but Pacoe keeps killing shit. This is the umpteenth video I’ve seen from the guy in the last month. San Jose strong.

2 Left Feet, a San Jose fixture, and the young pitbull Stik Gilatine are apparently prepping for an active summer.

Lurk Music’s Matt Gamin is at it again. GG threw this up yesterday and it’s been playing constantly. Bonafide local talent is tougher than ever to find in my neck of the woods so this is a breath of fresh air. One of Gamin’s strong suits is his ability to adhere to the audio aesthetics of San Jose’s homemade tape era without sacrificing any of the quality.

Is it hypocritical to denounce one Kickstarter project and immediately praise another? Yes. But I don’t give a fuck. Tim Brauch >>>>> Ras Kass at this point in my life. Growing up in San Jose, this guy’s name was good as gold. He was probably one of, if not the most revered and illy skater in the city. Go here for video footage and info on how to support.

Opski Chan is another San Jose stalwart. Aside from his ridiculously ill artwork, he’s a microphone maniac. 4-track raw, analog anarchy and humorous anecdotes galore are the man’s specialties.
“Triumphantly”
“HOLLA ATTA HOOLIGAN”
“You Yell From Cars”
“Ding Dong Ditchin’”
“Broken glass the last place you parked at….Blood stains….six feet before that….I get the job done, Jack, that’s my format..”

Every hometown has a hero and Dave Dub is San Jose’s own Superman. Living in San Jose, I’ve seen Dave rock a grip of shows. Dude’s a beast on every level. This is a track off of his Programmed D. Production is handled by another Zay Town legend in his own right, Tape Mastah Steph. Together, Steph & Dave are a force to be reckoned with and have been for years. The beat sounds like a trademark concoction of grime from the bowels of Tape Masta’s EPS. Anyway, cool shit.
