This particular jam comes from Paul’s Politics As Usual tape (which is a bunch of recent album stuff and a Big KRIT verse that gets wasted on a girl song) and features a rad verse from Unique of GRIT Boys fame (who put an absolutely stellar album right as the “H-Town” thing was fizzling). Quite indicative of what Mr. Wall should be doing.

Let’s close up for the weekend with a deceptively smooth banger from Paul Wall’s Heart of a Champion. I say deceptively because while the beat sounds like Christopher Cross orgasming all over the Flying Wasp, the subject matter gets rather heady.
