I wish dude would leave the Jackass stuff alone and rap more often, but I’ll take what I can get. YAM

KIlla Creepa & Giulio 4 “Game Over”

Friday, August 5th, 2011

This song should be familiar to you if you took our advice and took a look at Giulio 4′s absolutely stunning Offshore Exchange, but it popped up again on Creepa’s Jack Boy Hero and I’m not going to ignore the freshness. One of the more aggresice songs on Giulio 4′s album, it fits in much better on KC’s more rugged affair. The whole Giulio/Creepa/Armstrong/Flav Rock crew is crushing right now. And yes, this is that Creepa.

Steven Jo ‘YAM!’

The SortaHuman boys posted the “Rich Niggas!” video yesterday and reminded me to check if Steven’s new tape had come out… and here we are. The spazz-out steelo is fun, but the kid has stylez for days. A Haitian post-Based Mystikal? The boom-bapish stuff here is quite classy.

EASE OUT AND ENJOY THE TRILL CLASSIC PHONK OF SPACEGHOSTPURRPS TRILL SESSION OF THOWED HITS . THIS NIGGA HAD US GONE ON THIS TAPE AS HE PAYED HOMAGE TO THE BIG DAWG SCREW KEEPING THIS TRILL SHIT ALIVE 4 THESES BUSTAH ASS NIGGAS .. DAMN I LOVE CLUB NASA TRILL IN 1995

Muney gives his always impressively true-to-Screw purrped and chopped treatment to a bunch of Master P jamz, as well as some Eazy E and MC Ren. This is legit.

Spaceghostpurrp “Phoolish”

Wednesday, June 29th, 2011

The ’93 svwg attack continues. “Phoolish” takes the sound to Staten Island with fantastic results. This will be on SPG’s Mishka-sponsored Son of Eye tape.

More purrped and chopped goodness also popped up last night. This shit is not clean and sexy like the chopped and screwed stuff we are used to these days, but rather dirty, syruppy and sticky like it should be…

Frank Lini “Gook”

Frank Lini just released a single called “Gook”. Awesome.

“Gook”

“Field Work” Yup. Field Work. And Gook.

Spaceghostpurrp “My Enemie”

New mid-fi jamm from SGP. I get the feeling that as he continues to develop, Mr. Purrp will find more of his own style and we will truly get some greatness out of him. While this is clearly still on some M-Town Impression steez, the beat’s minimalism and the overall production quality is a step in that direction.

Giulio 4 ‘Offshore Exchange’

Wednesday, May 18th, 2011

For us here at Steady Bloggin, summertime means spending our weekday afternoons on a yacht in Miami sipping Michelob Lights and arguing about who has the best coke dealer while cold ignoring the racially ambiguous bitches licking on each other starboard. We also have a running copetition to see who can bring the most yacht-appropriate rap music. Guilio4′s Offshore Exchange is my early contribution. Straight Ferragamo Mango Boat Shoe Rap. Money Machines and Moet.

Downlaod and Enjoy

VIDEO: Poison Clan “Gangster, Gutta, G Code”

Tuesday, May 17th, 2011

Reunion Rapz from the Poisonous Mentality/Ruff Town Behavior incarnation of Poison Clan; JT Money leading the way with Uzi and Madball. I can’t imagine Debonair was too busy to hop on a couple tracks, but who knows.

Long Live The Clan should be awesome. I haven’t seen a tracklisting, but fingers crossed for multiple Benzino appearances…
