Livewire Gang “Hey Pimp Daddy”

Monday, September 6th, 2010

Last minute summer anthem from the Livewire Bros. Taken from Lil Rue and Lil Blood’s Shottas (which was well worth the wait) and featuring J. Stalin and Shady Nate. It goes without saying, but Stalin crushes.

HD & Lil B “Cold Crush”

Friday, August 13th, 2010

HD’s Extortion Muzik 2 is quite gassy. Here, HD and Based God quickly go in over some familiarity. It’s always nice to hear Lil B displaying his conventional side. Here’s to this leading to a Lil B/J. Stalin collaboration…

VIDEO: G Dirty & HD “Gas One”

Tuesday, February 9th, 2010

G-Dirty of Black & Chrome Gang fame and Livewire’s HD put in work over Eminem’s first attempt at beat-making (and Rakim homage payment). Black & Chrome Gang’s recent compilation was pretty inconsistent, but HD’s Extortion Muzic, which should be around later this week, looks to be a winner.

Livewire Radio Volume 2

J. Stalin and the Livewire Gang are back with another compilation. As far as I’m concerned Livewire is a close second behind The Mob Figaz when considering Bay Area crews. Stalin’s Prenuptial Agreement should get a ton of attention in January and people should begin to recognize his talent. Shady Nate, Lil Blood, Lil Rue, Philthy Rich (whose Funk Or Die should be nuts), Stevie Joe and Co. all supply more than adequate mobbed up verses here over diverse production from DJ Fresh and The Whole Shabang.
