Pre-album mixtape from the IllBurn Monopoly Boyz. Everytime I listen to new Fase, I am reminded that he might be the best gangster rapper on the planet right now.

I have never taken the time to check this dude out before, but his verse on this track from the highly excellent Baby/Mack Maine tape may force me to delve. Does he normally flow this awesomely or should I continue to ignore?
If you have been paying attetion to this space at all for the past few years you should be well aware that we have a huge appreciation for everything Surf Club, especially the stylings of Chili Chil. The dude is a fucking superstar. “Nobody” is the first leak from Live Forever. Bart Scott.
Young Hawaii Slim and Jay Ughh do some stuff here while I paint a picture of Lil Debbie’s butthole in my mind. Pretty awesome party jam. These guys held a solid spot in my summer listening patterns this year.
I am completely confident in claiming A-Wax as one of the 10 best rappers on the planet right now. I have empirical data to support myself. Do not challenge me. YG is entertaining as hell in his own right as well. Interstate Trafficking should be monumental. By the way, it was pretty cool of Wax to get that PhilaFlava tat on his throat. Beat that, Slug.
I guess yGee is now just Gee? Probably a decent idea. Gee continues to rap like he was the best of whoever is left on Young Money. Wa$ted Youth is poised to force people to pay attention with Undefeated 2 and Wake N Bake 2 both on the way. There’s a little Lil B diss here too, but in all fairness I doubt that B’s max bench is really all that impressive (spiritually though…).
Brand new tape from LA’s best kept secret. If you’ve been paying attention to us, then you know the deal with the Wa$ted Youth fellaz and your download is already in progress. If not, do the math, yo.
Nattymari + SortaHuman + Kreayshawn + Dirty Tape Hiss Memphis Beats = One of the coolest releases of 2011. According to Nattymari, this was originally intended to be a Kreayshawn/V-Nasty affair, but Kreayshawn kinda got busy… so SupaHuman stepped in and knocked this shit out of the park. Nattymari deserves tremendous props for putting something like this together. You gotta love when great ideas end up being executed with perfection.
First things first: If you don’t have Gumbeaux in your Top 10 albums of the first half of 2011, you are foolish. Easily the best-produced album I’ve heard all year.
“Show Love” is produced by G.Ry and may or may not be on the forthcoming Louisiana Purchase. The chorus is generic, but everything else here is quite fire.
THIS. There really isn’t more that I can say about Chil that I haven’t been saying for years. DJ FU’s beat here is lavish as fuck.
Extra shout out to Hit-Boy for landing a track on Watch The Throne.
