Over the last few years G-Side have become an accomplished live act, playing sold out shows and festivals all over US and Northern Europe. But before all that was this 2010 SXSW set, their first appearance at the conference, one of the first major shows they ever played. It was a pivotal moment in the group’s history, an introduction to the world at large in form of some of their best work prior to The One… Cohesive and iSLAND albums. As G-Side now ready for their third visit to the Austin gathering, SMS and Steadybloggin proudly present the complete audio from that date, available for the first time for download in a proper tracked and mastered format. Last Thursday a Huntsville delegation (along with yours truly) were guests on PTP’s excellent Fresh Out The Box radio show. The highlight of the visit is above, with ST 2 Lettaz, Zill and Norty Hugh rapping over an EL-P beat and some unreleased Block Beattaz production courtesy of R.Dot.
