Just a reminder that K-Rino’s Annihilation of The Evil Machine is out today. I pretty much say this every time he puts an album out, but this shit (especially disc one) rivals his best work. It honestly feels like the penultimate K-Rino album. I am not a big fan of “concept” albums, but K does such a thorough job of exploring the topics at hand that it seems effortless.

Pimp C’s forthcoming posthumous The Naked Soul of Sweet Jones looks a little too much like a posthumous Pimp C album on paper to be a truly fitting send-off, but this song jams quite nicely. At least we will get a few more actual solo tracks.

Word is that Annihilation of The Evil Machine will be a double album opus. Fresh off the heels of the absolutely stellar Solitary Confinement, I have very few doubts that K will deliver once again on what looks like it could end up being a “concept album”. Stay tuned for a tracklist and release date.

Z-Ro buries this thing. These two have been making nothing but greatness since ending the beef. I’m pretty jazzed for a new Slim Thug album.
