New mix from Gila, the behind-the-boards half of the trench coat-rocking broken champagne bottle-wielding rap duo Gorgeous Children. There’s no tracklist available due to inclusion of super sexy secret tracks that don’t even have names yet, but there is Maxo Kream and Gucci Mane and new Gorgeous Children material on here, plus other good rap, all spliced together with some icey electronics and gravely textures… so what the fuck else do you even need to know.
The mix was originally premiered on Fresh Out The Box radio last night.

A surprisingly… (dare I say) delicate and pretty (no really, those words do truly apply here) instrumental tribute to Gucci. Would be pretty sweet to hear Gucci actually rap on this.

I’m an intermittent Gucci fan at best, but it’s nice to see Rome coming up in the world.

Premiered via PTP
If you’re in NY on May 7, come see Rome do his stuff at Santos for FREE.

New chopped and screwed compilation by Soul Division, mostly newer songs with a few well chosen older tracks. The Zilla, Turf Talk/Cousin Fik, Starlito, T-Rock/Mr Sche and Roach Gigz/Danny Brown tracks are strong favorites imo.

These two need to do a ton of songs together ASAP. Borkpackers will not appreciate the wordplay (until they hear the tracks with De La, Phife, Punchline and MF Doom…), but the dexterity these two display on a regular basis is undeniable. This will be on Ize’s Professional Ignorant project with Morgan The Mexican, which should be out 12/2.

BONUS: “Let’cha Boy Go” ft. B.O.B.
