GMane & Dave Luxe – Late Nite Ridin Musik Vol.2 EP

Wednesday, May 30th, 2012

New GMane EP, this one assisted by producer Dave Luxe. GMane has been incredibly consistent over the last few years, this one doesn’t disappoint either. Teaming up with Luxe proves to be a good idea, he brings some great and very fitting beats to the table. There are also a few surprises thrown in to complement GMane’s usual m.o. – SLASH shows up as a producer (for the first time that I know of) and does rather well, and there’s a tastefully executed remake of ‘Mind Playing Tricks On Me’ that manages to take advantage of the Isaac Hayes sample without being too cloying.

GMane – Up (Prod By Caness)

Friday, April 13th, 2012

First drop from GMane’s upcoming Late Nite Ridin Musik 2, which judging by Caness’ beat might have GMane riding through Blade Runner. Fantastic way to start the day but I’m not going to listen to this again until it gets dark out.

GMane – Late Nite Ridin Musik EP

Out of nowhere, with no warning, a free new G-Mane EP. A few of these songs were leaked recently, the rest look new (I might be partially wrong on that.) Either way, no complaints, more new G-Mane is always welcome.

GMane – Anutha Run (Prod By Caness)

Monday, December 19th, 2011

New GMane, produced by Caness of Parallel Thought. A whole album of this kind of gangstafied crooning would hit the spot really well, we already know GMane got the voice to pull it off and I’m pretty sure Caness and the other Parallel Thought guys have beats to match.

GMane & Bravo Money – Comin Down

Tuesday, November 29th, 2011

Catching up with music I missed while taking a little hiatus over the last week or so…

GMane’s annual Thanksgiving mixtape for this year was Rap Hu$tlin, a collection of several collaborations taken from his past few releases with a few new jams thrown in. The cover+tracklist for it is above. This one is my favorite from the new/previously unheard (by me) ones.

GMane & DJ Dirrty – All Night Smoke Session (Mixtape)

Sunday, September 11th, 2011

As expected, GMane delivers another excellent set of ultra-smooth g-funk and country rap inspired riding & smoking music. He kinda shows the youngins a thing or two about cloud rap while he’s at it. Essential download.

G Mane – Attack / High

Thursday, September 1st, 2011

All Night Smoke Session is highly anticipated around these parts. GMane’s track record over the last few years has been incredibly consistent; Sex, Drugs & Money is still in rotation almost a year after it was released.

Both of these tracks will be included on the new one. “Attack” is a fresh leak, produced by Ric and Thadeus. “High” was originally released a few months ago, this is a revamped and polished version.
