This is that quintessential MAz sound right here. Bossalinis & Fooliyones could’ve used more of exactly this kind of ambient melodrama (Friendzone’s absence was really a big sore spot for that album.) Allegedly there are two MAz X Frienzone albums slated for next year, about damn time that happened.
Bonus points, a new Frienzone instrumental that popped up a few days before the song above.

Hoping for good things here. The roster of participants is certainly impressive, which is not surprising considering Deniro’s knack for picking collaborators.
.L.W.H.’s previous album Tape Hiss Hooligan was an exercise in Green Ova team building; almost every track featured at least one member of the Main Attrakion or Shady Blaze or frequent Green Ova collaborators like Western Tink and Friendzone. CIA TV takes a different route, putting the spotlight on .L.W.H. himself to showcase his considerable production talents. Only one track on here features rapping (by MAz of course), the rest are instrumental, with an expected detour into a psychedelic ballad thrown in at the end. And it’s all good stuff, much much better than what you normally find on beat tapes these days. This is an interesting, well executed album that shows a side of Green Ova which often goes overlooked.
More Friendzone instrumentals are always welcome. Original song here.
This is a Friendzone instrumental from a Main Attrakionz song, nuff said.

New Main Attrakionz collection to hold us over until the next proper album. Featured production by Ryan Hemsworth, Friendzone, Ahyve, Squadda himself and more.
In case you already forgot how good this song is. Video directed by Zach G.

A full length MAz & Friendzone collaboration really needs to happen asap. At this point it would just be common sense.

Another good Friendzone track. This one would sound great with somebody rapping on it (as opposed to some of their previous work which is best left in instrumental form.) Shady Blaze would kill on this, it feels very well suited to his cadence.
