Color me impressed. Both these dudes are leaps and bounds ahead of their past-selves. Dez doles out that panache in general. “Dwight Gooden” is him shamelessly taking aim at your head. Nobs’ production here reminds me a lot of prime DJ Muggs during the Funkdoobiest era. Bare bones, but thorough and it lets your ears percolate. From their Rocky Dennis LP slated for a March 2010 release.
