From time to time, you get artists from any scene you’ve always heard of but have never been able to build with. Just recently, I’ve been able to contact the DMV’s own Day One. In my opinion, probably one of the most slept on artists in the scene. I remember checking out his mixtapes Roll With The Prince Vol. 1 and Vol. 2, hearing some well done mixtape tracks as well original songs recorded. Few years later, he’s still at it with not only Roll With The Prince Vol. 3, he dropped an album entitled History’s Child and an EP entitled The Capitol State Of Mind. Now, I remember hearing about his album but never being able to get a hold of it personally until a mutual friend of ours put us in contact.
