I like to think of Jesus like with giant eagles wings, and singin’ lead vocals for Lynyrd Skynyrd with like an angel band and I’m in the front row and I’m hammered drunk!
Second high profile MAz collabo in two days, this one produced by Silky Johnson. I like it more than Cloud Skatin, which was good but a tad overrated due to the novelty of the collaboration.
Song is pretty dope, Brown keeps winning and araab here >>>>>> araab buttonmashing imo. But I can’t lie, I’m mostly in this for an easy chance to reference The Outsiders.
A quick skim confirms that this is the album you wanted if you thought XXX was too weird and/or poorly produced (I disagree on both personally, but it seems like a fairly common viewpoint). The new tracks on here feature Brown in a more traditional mode, although maybe not completely Lyricist Loungin’ either. Still, tugs at your backpack straps this does.
Our Soul Division brethren sent this over the weekend as a possible candidate for our upcoming C&S tape collaboration. It’s crazy as hell, needs to be heard by the masses but maybe too singular to include in a mix (it would likely overpower anything around it). Instead of trying to describe this pandemonium verbally, I’m going with a picture of flying bears shooting eye lasers. That’s better and more appropriate than anything I can write.
Leaked of Paul White’s Rapping With Paul White, which comes out tomorrow. White and Brown are on different drugs, but psychedelics and adderall do go together quite well. At least until the speed freaks start stabbing the hippies (no Altamont).
