A great psych record from a San Francisco quartet. Reminiscent of prime Sabbath in the best way, and nicely spiced up with attractive prog touches and esoteric asides into vaguely Eastern territories. More trippy and mystical than headbanging, but will still rattle the bong nicely. Better than most retro-rock stuff I come across, possibly because all the band members are females and they make flutes sound heavy and name songs things like ‘I Wish a Muthafucka Would’.

‘Black Daffi`s Revenge’ (above) is from Ras G’s Raw Fruit Vol. 4. It makes me realize that I don’t check for Jeremiah Jae nearly enough.

‘Walk With Me’ (below) is from the previous volume in the Raw Fruit series, not sure who KhaiLL Sadiq is but he fits the vibe well.

SHAMELESS PLUG: Before the album touches down, check out the compilation of my favorite Main Attrakionz loosies that I put together a short while ago. It’s called LSD OG and has tons of great rare tracks from 2010-2012. GO HERE TO STREAM AND DOWNLOAD IT.
