Soaked out intergalactic phonk from Baltimore. Shit is as trill as it gets.
Shitty weather/Monday appropriate. The songs are taken from last year’s Deeper Than Dirt album, which is consistent with what you get in the vid.
All this shit is missing is Weebay and some fish sandwiches. Dope video by two dope boyz. –Philaflava
I’m digging this mixtape, a collaboration between Baltimore’s MC Ellis and producer Legin. Good raps, good production, taking all the right ques from obvious 90s east coast inspirations. It’s a bit rough around the edges, but I feel the good greatly outweighs the bad. The three songs below should do the trick of convincing you to give this a try. “Magic” especially, the sax is at ‘Sade in a tub of butter’ levels of smoothness. “Hardcore” was posted here previously, that’s actually the song that got me interested.

These guys used to strongly dislike eachother. Very cool song if you have paid attention to the non-Club B’more scene. The original track wasn’t anything special, but this is huge more for the pairing than anything else. The back and forth third verse is pretty epic. Baltimore street rap certainly deserves more of our attention. Bookmark Govt Names and get up.
Check out some random youtubeness after the link…
Here is a new joint from a couple of B-More cats you might like. They’re on that 90′s steez. Imagine if Real Live met Ellis Carver? Come to think of it, maybe that’s how this dude got his name. Peace to Poot. –Philaflava
