T-Mazz is an interesting case. He is from EPA, but sounds like a (much) more aggressive AZ with a Philly edge to his flow. In the past year or so he has put out a couple (very) poor single attempts, but with Shark Out Da Bay, T-Mazz came back down to Earth. Occasionally he gets lazy and you can catch the Lupe Fiasco breath whimper in between bars, but 90% of the time his flow is water tight and he balances out the gangster braggadocio with scattered pro-Black responsibility raps.
Making a video for “Grimey” is a great move. The quality of spit stands out as a breath of fresh air on Demolition Men’s Nuthin But Slap 9 and a solid video should bolster the hype and get T-Mazz closer to a deal.
