Obviously this is late, and everywhere, but how could we not post it? Watching the ascension of the Huntsville movement has been extremely entertaining and rewarding. Huntsville International is a hugely important project for these guys, and security hiccups aside, they should reap huge dividends from what is an insanely fun and consistent album.
Early favorites (leaks aside) include “This Groove” “Rising Sun” and “College Girls”. Yelawolf’s verse on “Who’s Hood” may be his most impressive yet. Block Beattaz continue to take things to elevated planes, and Mick Vegas keeps in step. Speaking of Mick, I thought Burn One was going to host this thing? While I read and respect the bloggers involved, I don’t need to hear them on this record. My only other complaint would be the beat on “What’s It All About”. Why take a spot away from Mali and the boys and allow Johnny Juliano provide an imitation BB beat? Nitpicking aside, you NEED this.
