#GreenDay continues to roll (no Z-Ro). A smarter man than I would’ve probably waited till the end of the day to collect all these into a makeshift EP, but it’s too late for that now.

It took me a few seconds to recognize the sample Friendzone used here, pretty sure it’s the same one used on a certain AZ & Nas mafioso classic

EDIT: Just got a version with NO DJ TAGS and some more info on the song. It was produced by Baton Rouge’s Q Red (Trill Fam producer), and will be featured on a Zilla/Q Red collaboration project set to drop some time this summer.

The ‘remix’ designation is pure semantics, for all relevant intents and purposes this is just a new Main Attakionz song that samples some band called Dominant Legs. Produced by Ammbush of SWTBRDS (I think).

This one is all over the place and very “based” lol, I hate using the word but that is the only word that explains what I do -ISSUE

I’m guessing a lot of people will hate on this. ‘Based’ is indeed the right word for it, maybe the only word for it. I’m not entirely sure this even constitutes rap music anymore, at least not in a formalist traditional sense. It’s… different. I can’t even really explain what I like about it, but something about the way ISSUE deconstructs rap into based shoegaze fantasy is very intriguing to me.
