This just dropped this via Twitter. It’s Prince Paul, it’s from 1995, nuff said. This is his description:
A word from the producer …. Horror City 1995 P.Paul
This was a project that I wanted to put together with Amityville MC legend Superstar . as I thought about it more I wanted to recruit more Mcs we knew to make it diverse . Superstar already had the name “Horror City” so wen recorded under that name . This project was recorded right after the first Gravedigga album ” 6ft deep”in 1995 . I shopped the demo but unfortunately it got looked over and never got signed . I sat on this project for a while but it always had a dear place in my heart because I thought it was really good and the talent was there . I stripped some of the music from the demo and put it on ” a prince among thieves” and actually had a few of the guys perform on the ” Thieves ” album as well but to be honest I always liked these originals better . So now I have decided share these songs with all of you because holding on to them made no sense .. why not share great music . Hopefully you the listener will enjoy this project as much as I do . please share it , thats why I made this for free download . Last night, Bill Maher lamented President Barack Obama’s “professorial†personality, noting with a hint of betrayal in his voice that he was expecting a “real black presidentâ€â€“ you know, the kind that “lifts up his shirt so they can see the gun in his pants.â€
Ice Cube as Doughboy in the modern classic “Boyz ‘N The Hood” famously lifts up his sweatshirt to flash a loaded weapon to a potential enemy. Is that how Maher views all black people or the president alone? Does he expect that every African-American he encounters is armed and prepared to harm him? Bill Maher fails where Jon Stewart succeeds and this is a great example of the comprehension gap Maher owns proudly. I’m not of the opinion he thinks anything of the sort about blacks in this country (aside from the fact that he is a comedian and his entire shtick is to be politically controversial). However, he can safely maneuver the long way to saying “Nigger” and no one cares.
Apocalypse Now. Kicking the survival movement into full-gear. My grandfather practices a lot of the same behaviors and is a generally weird guy. If it’s kooky in California, I can’t begin to imagine how oddball it becomes as you travel inward through the country. Via Asylum:
If the proverbial you-know-what hit the global fan, would you be prepared? The answer to that question is most likely a big, fat no.
After all, it’s hard to develop life skills (e.g., growing/storing your own food, filtering water) while playing myriad video games or scrounging the Internet for funny videos to post on Facebook.
Turns out, though, that while you may not be concerned about mass chaos and world destruction, a growing number of people are.

For police chief Clayton Leão Chaves it was supposed to be another day at the office. At around 9.40am this morning, he was making his daily journey to the police HQ in Camacari, a small city in Bahia state, and giving an interview to local radio on his mobile phone about the police’s struggle against local drug traffickers.
Then something went badly wrong.
“I heard some bangs,” one of the shows two presenters announced, perplexed, as the police chief’s voice disappeared.
“Something serious has happened to our chief. It can’t be anything else,” said his co-presenter, adding: “The chief was just talking to us. We don’t know what has happened. There is a lady weeping.”
According to local media reports, Chaves had been killed as he spoke to journalists from Bahia’s Lider FM radio station and to thousands of local listeners about attempts to improve security.
In a recording of the programme, released today, the voice of the police chief’s wife can be heard breaking into a hysterical cry. “Oh my God in heaven, Oh my God in heaven. For the love of God.”
According to reports, the police chief’s car was ambushed by gunmen, who then fled in a white VW car.
“He was talking,” his wife can be heard screaming on the recording. “He was giving an interview on the radio.”
Producers at Lider FM allowed the audio from the police chief’s mobile phone to roll for several minutes following the ambush, until a bystander appears to comfort the woman and the line finally goes dead.
