This beat is… almost pretty. Clearly a departure from the dusty minimalism that Marciano usually raps on, even accounting for some of the more expansive beats he’s gone over recently. It works well enough though, no complaints here aside from the short length of the feature.

Jones and Groove Daniels of Soul Division for working with us on this all the way from Norway, tirelessly sending us track after track of quality material for our merciless selection process, and patiently sticking with us as we obsessed over minutiae of track arrangement and sequencing. Another new Shady Blaze song. Like a lot of his previous work with Ryan, the song has a celebratory (no pun) uplifting slant. However the beat is a little unusual in the context of the people involved; I’m so used to hearing Shady over mostly experimental/forward thinking production that hearing him on a fairly traditional piano-based beat was almost surprising.
